Winter Solace is a stunning large black mare. Before being purchased by us, she had a varied breeding history. Although her mating to Jimmy Creed was considered "okay," it produced the Hong Kong winner See U Again.
Winter Solace is a four-time winner, with her first victory coming by over five lengths at Mornington Racecourse.
She is one of only three mares in Australia from her sire, Apologia.
Apologia is a well-bred horse by Danehill, hailing from a prestigious New Zealand family. Winter Solace boasts a strong pedigree with several interesting line-breeding options.
This season, she is on an adventure in Tasmania and is in foal to Alpine Eagle (High Chaparral) from Armidale Stud.
